Evidently drawing every day has not occurred; I blame school, mostly.
I've been informed that some people /have/ in fact been checking in on my blog, so, thanks? haha I'm going to try and make this entry legit for you guyses, I suppose. :0

ALLOW ME TO LIST SOME THINGS:
1) My classes are lame. My workload is pretty heavy.
2) I lack motivation to do said work
3) I feel uninspired draw
4) Work is becoming frustrating and less fun
5) So, I'm INCREDIBLY frustrated with where I am

I feel so depressed lately hahahaaaaaaaa. It's poop.
I hope it's a seasonal thing - I've felt this way since mid-Decemberish, but it just seems to worsen. Spring, plz.

THIS HOLIDAY WAS MEDIOCRE.
Something didn't feel right, but I can't really place my finger on what it was. I just, dont feel right - very 'durr'.


So, adios 2008 - you kind of sucked, here's hoping 2009 is kickass. My resolution? I'm going to sketch EACH AND EV-ER-EE DAY.

My laptop died on Thursday, hence lack of posting (i was understandably upset/going through withdrawals/pulling out my hair in frustration/driving around for ages looking for the Mac Outpost).

This week has been pretty terrible, too.
I was both saddened and inspired by some events that took place today.

My dad lives about 10 minutes from me in a small crescent with his Golden Retriever, Linus. Another man lives alone a few houses down. Alone save for his own Golden (I unfortunately dont know her name), I mean.
My dad's only spoken to him a handful of times, as Linus doesn't get along well with this other dog. They just know eachother to wave, really.
The man stopped by my dad's house today, though, to offer him a large container of dog food - his golden had died this morning.
He had taken her with him to the Terry Fox Run when, on their walk, her heart suddenly stopped.
It was strange, I had thought, that he came to my dad so quickly to be rid of the dog food - maybe it was painful to look at? My dad said he got the impression that the man just needed to let someone know, to talk about it openly ...

I can't express how sad I feel. My heart aches thinking about it.

so I, uh, had to draw a dog. Macy, specifically. Just a 10 minute doodle. =|



I wonder if this man would let me draw her..? =/ Man, I don't even know his name.

Anywho, to your right, theres a generic looking monster I doodled this morning (I like this unibrow). I recently read Graham Romieu's 'Big Foot I Not Dead' (which is hilarious) and I think I might've been inspired to draw a big, shapeless, monster-like ... thing.

I've been playing alot of Okage: Shadow King. I love the quirky characters/story line and the writing is pretty funny, but the gameplay is bland and the battle system blows. x:
here's a 3 minute sketch of TEEN IDOL EVIL KING (?) Linda (thats another thing, the characters in Okage have terrible names). I love her horns <3
